Erminea Inc. is a unique group of diverse women in STEAM who strive to educate and inspire school children and the general public with creative science works.
Through our volunteer work with March Mammal Madness, we provide a visual component for the general public and school children to better understand complex and sometimes abstract scientific concepts. Through our volunteer work as artists, we improve the effectiveness, reach and engagement level of this global science communication project.
We equip STEAM professionals, educators, and scholars with material that will make an impact not only in their profession, but in curriculum design across different disciplines.
We provide this through our various offered art services including:
- science communication specialty
- science illustration and animation
- science poster design
- science education
- art education
Our volunteer work we provide for March Mammal Madness has reached a global public audience, including over 650,000 global students in 2023.
The March Mammal Madness material had 1,005,604 views on the ASU Library guide alone in 2023, and the countless social media engagements from the general public.
In February 2023, over 6,600 educators requested access to the free educator materials to use with over 660,000 students.
Each year, we create 127 new pieces of original artwork over the course of the MMM tournament, with each artist contributing over 80 of volunteer work annually.
The immediate goal for the nonprofit is to receive funding support for the artwork already contributed to March Mammal Madness each year, with long term goals of expanding our science communication reach beyond this project.
You can help Erminea Inc. expand our efforts to impact more students in STEM by donating and sharing our cause.
